Following is a note we received from Gypsy’s new family:

Hi
I just have to let you know that Gypsy has turned some kind of doggy corner and has realized that it's great to be a retired greyhound, no more rushing as soon as you are let off the lead to start a race, time to sniff, and jump and gallop in the lake or at the beach.
She listens out for me, comes on call, waits to be given the signal that it's OK to go down to the beach from the bush track, loves picking up sticks and running with them, is nice to other dogs and doesn't feel the need to gallop after them to win.
She's also eating very well, and leaving nothing in the dish, the secret is a small egg mixed in with her food, and boiled rice.
I've been making coil baskets out of natural materials which I find when I'm
walking her and call them Gypsy Baskets, some are on show at the Northern Rivers Community Art Gallery, and there was a bit of a write up about them, including why I call them Gypsy Baskets!
She has loads of admirers in Caba.
Cheers
Babette
to check out the Gypsy Baskets!
