Rehomed to Currumbin, Qld in December 2007 - yet another foster dog who isn't going anywhere!  Lacey's new owners had decided to only foster at this point in time, but were so impressed with this little lady who slotted so easily into their lives, that they soon knew they weren't going to let her go anywhere else.  Lucky Lacey.

"Clyde"

Rehomed to Logan, Qld in December 2007 - Clyde was only in foster care for a matter of days before the decision was made to make it permanent.  He settled in so well that his foster carer was happy for him to stay & "Blackie", as he is now known, is company for Katie the elderly, vision-impaired lab & has a wonderful life in his new forever home.

"Buck"

Rehomed to Brisbane in November 2007, Buck has finally found a place to call home. He now spends his fun filled days with a whippet friend, Duncan, and many happy activities with his new owners, who hope to bring Buck along to any promotional events to showcase his great nature.

"Toby"

Rehomed to Ipswich Qld in October 2007 - Toby would have to have been one of the skinniest Greyhounds surrendered to us, but has found a fantastic forever home with a lovely couple who adore him, & is healthy & robust, living the happy, pampered life he deserves.  A lovely old boy who couldn't have asked for a better home.

RIP TOBY - You will be remembered by all of your fans here, and dearly missed by your new owners. You were taken away from them too soon.

"Jessie"

Rehomed to Robina, Qld in October 2007 - now known as "Nala", this gorgeous girl is living a pampered existence with her new family in their lovely home, with regular outings & loads of attention & affection.  She is now the centre of this family's life - & loving it!

"Merlin"

Rehomed to Ulmarra NSW in November 2007 - Merlin is sorely missed by his foster parents but happily settled with his new family & their other animals.  They are really happy with him & love his funny antics & great nature.  A magic ending.

"Sonny"

Rehomed to Parkinson Qld in November 2007 - "Magnus" as he is now known, is the perfect family dog.  Magnus was an early Christmas present for a family with two young children & is loved by all that meet him.  This big boof of a dog has a wonderful, happy temperament & is thriving in his new surroundings with loads of love & attention. A great ambassador for Greyhounds as pets.

"Sam"

Rehomed to Sippy Downs, Sunshine Coast in October 2007.  This bouncy, big fella found a perfect home with a young family who think the world of him.  His new owners have a fondness for lurchers since owning them in the UK, & Sam, with his fun, affectionate nature & easygoing, obedient disposition has slotted right into their lives.

"Shadow"

Rehomed to Burleigh Waters in October 2007 - now known as "Cleo", this gorgeous little girl has found peace, love & pampering with a lovely young family with 2 kids who all adore her.  Dumped in a pound with broken toes & lucky enough to catch the attention of a nice Council ranger who appreciated her sweet, gentle personality & was happy to co-ordinate her rescue with us, Cleo soon found herself in a permanent loving home.  She wasn't even here long enough for us to take a photo!  {sigh} Another happy ending.

"Billy"

Rehomed to Banora Point NSW in October 2007, 5 year old Billy found a home so fast he barely made it on the website! Billy's new owners were looking for a doggy companion for their German Shepherd x Great Dane, who was pining after losing a long time mate. So far, Billy has slotted right in to his new home and we hope he continues along this path for a long time to come!

"Nugget"

Rehomed to Wavell Heights , Qld in October 2007. Nugget, renamed Velvet, is a lucky girl who is now living a charmed life as a spoilt princess with her new owner.

"Doc"

Rehomed in October 2007. Now known as The Rock 'aka Rocky' - he went to live with a mother & her 9 year old son in Helensvale Qld.  He gets along fine with the family cat & has started a local obedience training course.  His new owners adore him, including the boy's grandmother who comes over to keep both Alec & Rocky company when Mum has to work back late.  A lovely new life for this lovely, gentle dog!

"Kazzy"

Rehomed to Currumbin Qld in September 2007, Kazzy is now known as "Nova". Nova has found a home with a young family, including their 3 year old boy and Staffy cross . Nova is very happy in her new home!

"Burt"

Rehomed to Parkwood Qld in September 2007, Burt captured the hearts of his foster carers. He now lives with them permanently and enjoys the company of a big fluffy cat as well. Lucky Burt!

"Jemma/Missy"

Rehomed to Hope Island, Qld in August 2007.  Now named "Rogue" & living a sweet, spoiled life with a lovely couple & their other much-loved pets.  Rogue has her new best friend canine, 'Courage', a cute Lhasa Apso x Poodle male & shares her new home with a cat, caged rats, and various birds.  She has come a long way in a short time & is lucky to have found permanent bliss after being rescued in poor condition from a Brisbane animal shelter.

"Saxon"

Rehomed to Brisbane, Qld in August 2007 - Saxon the Sweetheart has gone to live with a lovely family & their small, fluffy dog & old cat.  This young Greyhound, with his very sweet, gentle nature & happy, easygoing disposition would have adapted to any situation & was much in demand, but he has the perfect forever home, often choosing to camp on the floor of his 10 year old boy's room, upon layers of clothing that are lying there (he thinks for his benefit) & adding to this pile by dragging slippers, ugh boots, stuffed toys & socks. A much-loved young pup! 

"Wally"

Rehomed to Highland Park, Qld in July 2007, Wally, the big, lovable boofhead is now the adored pet of a family who, although initially concerned about his rather large size, instantly fell in love with this laid-back hound.  Pleasantly surprised at how easily he settled into their family life, Wally's family are all very happy with the decision to fence their yard & get a dog, so much so that the father asked jokingly if he could trade his 2 sons for 2 more Greyhounds. 

"Casper"

Rehomed to Burleigh Heads, Qld in July 2007 - Casper is one lucky hound - & the lovely family that adopted him believe they are very lucky people to have such a wonderful dog join their family.  Casper is now the pride & joy of a Welsh family who have recently immigrated & had decided back in the UK that they would one day have a Greyhound.  As soon as they settled into their new home on the Gold Coast, the surgeon & his family, consisting of 3 kids (10, 7, & 4 years old) adopted Casper, who is best friends with their newly rescued miniature Dachsund puppy, Daisy.  So loved is the affectionate Casper that he often gets around with a lipstick kiss on his nose!

Rehomed to Durack QLD in July 2007, Aimee has finally found her forever home. With Ruby the veteran greyhound and a long time greyhound lover as her new owner, she is destined to a charmed life napping in the sun and playing! We are really happy to see Aimee is such a loving home.

Rehomed to Round Mountain NSW in June 2007 - this young babe, now known as "Abby" resides with a couple living on large acreage on the Tweed Coast who think she is the sweetest thing ever.  She is learning to live harmoniously with their elderly cat & is making good progress understanding life as a pet.  She is extremely happy with the loads of love & attention that she receives.

"Narla"

Rehomed to Wellington Point QLD in June 2007 - thoroughly enjoying her regal status in the household as the only dog & much adored by her human companion, (& accept ed by the 2 cats), Narla has a wonderful life. Her owner recently lost her Greyhound friend & needed to find another to share that special bond with.

"Rocket"

Rehomed to Upper Coomera Qld in June 2007 - Rocket has a luxurious life running and playing on a fenced couple of acres with his best friend and partner in crime, Emmie the Greyhound, who was adopted from us last year.  Rocket is one extremely spoilt & well-loved boy - initially a foster dog for this wonderful caring couple, Rocket made sure that he fitted right in, & of course, they couldn't part with him.

"Patch"

Rehomed to Tin Can Bay QLD in May 2007 - puppy Patch has a new home with 2 cats & an older little dog & his new owner is just delighted with this young fella.  Typically mischievous & playful, like all pups, Patch creates a lot of laughs (& some displeasure) with his antics, but he is a good boy, & his owner, who bred, trained & raced Greyhounds many years ago, is very glad to have this gorgeous dog as a pet.

"Foxy"

Rehomed to Gladstone QLD in May 2007 - this beautiful dog draws attention wherever she goes & was extremely popular with potential adoptees.  The lucky new owners wanted a friendly, outgoing dog that would be good with their 3 year old son & friends with their elderly male Jack Russell & would help with the promotion of Greyhounds as pets.  No problem there!  Foxy is a very sweet, very easygoing, attractive & affectionate girl & will be a wonderful ambassador for Greyhound adoption in their area.

"Ash"

Rehomed to Nerang QLD in May 2007 - now known as Jess - a more perfect home could not have been found for this lucky girl.  Somewhat timid of new things & also rather man-shy, Jess needed a nurturing home with patient, caring people that would allow her to become a confident & happy dog.  Well, she found it!  Living with a couple that have always had Great Danes but wanted to provide a home for a rescue dog, she is now their much-loved pampered pet.  Best friends with their new Miniature Fox Terrier pup & spoilt with a bed in every room of the house, Jess is lapping up this new life.

"Betty"

Rehomed to Benowa QLD in May 2007.  Betty met her new owners at the Million Paws Walk & went home with them to spend the rest of her life in loving luxury. Lots of attention, exercise & playing for this happy hound with 4 teenage boys to dote on her.  A great home for Black Betty.

"Spot"

Rehomed to the Lismore area, NSW, in May 2007, this sweet little dog has her new best buddy, Bloke, a gorgeous black Greyhound whom she runs flat out around the yard with, sleeps inside in front of the fire with & even shares her new master's bed with.  What a perfect home!  She is much adored by her new owner who loves her affectionate nature & is very pleased with how she has fit into his life & menagerie (lots of birds & ferrets).

"Illie"

Illie, an 8 year old Greyhound who had been attacked by 2 other dogs, has been re-homed to a lovely lady from Southport in May 2007. With 2 older kids, a partner that works from home, & no other pets, Illie has found herself a wonderful home where she'll be pampered & spoilt & enjoy a happy, carefree retirement.  

"Tango"

Tango has found himself an amazing home with a young couple in Fairfield, Brisbane. Rehomed in May 2007, Tango will be enjoying the life of an inside dog (as it should be!), making friends with the local wildlife population and being thoroughly spoilt. We look forward to Tango and his new owners attending our promotional events to show others what beautiful dogs Greyhounds are.

"Pixie"

The beautiful Pix was rehomed in April 2007 to a young family with 3 year old twins. The family had not known about how great the greyhound is as a pet, and after doing some research, decided to invite Pixie into their home. Pix now enjoys her days lazing by the pool on her "day bed" and sleeping at night in her climate controlled "bedroom". She is getting along well with the family cat, and is a very happy, lucky dog!

"Logan"

Rehomed to Norman Park QLD in April 2007, Logan has joined Abby, another previously adopted hound to a life of luxury. Logan, (now named Monty) originally rescued from a local pound, got his second chance and is now very happy with his new life with girlfriend Abby. His new owner fell in love with him after being asked to temporarily care for him. The 2 dogs have become inseparable. Lucky Logan!

"Barney"

Rehomed to Dunlop ACT in March, 2007 - this sweet, gentle giant has finally found his forever home with a wonderful couple living in Canberra.  Barney is a cruisy, laid back, affectionate big sook & settled in his new home instantly.  His new family think he's wonderful & he is one lucky boy to be the centre of their attention.

"Ty"

Rehomed to Chermside West, QLD in February, 2007 - this tall, friendly fellow - referred to as the "big black Percheron" by his foster carer & now owner, settled himself into this home & made it his own.  Big & boofy, Ty is vastly different to his predecessor, the fine-boned, elegant Dylan (who sadly recently passed away), but Ty has ingratiated himself into his foster home where he receives all the TLC he deserves & is earning the acceptance of his fellow Greyhound companion, Jenna.  The perfect, loving home for him!

"Eddie"

Rehomed to Eagle Heights QLD in March, 2007 - this adorable little guy was reunited with his brother, Timmy, who had been adopted a few weeks earlier by this young family.  Eddie & Timmy will enjoy hours of mischievous play, hours of napping together, & lots of fun with their humans, & will grow up together, along with the 2 small boys in their new family who think these pups are so cool.  So-o-o-o nice!

"Timmy"

Rehomed to Eagle Heights, Qld in February 2007 - the youngest Greyhound we've had surrendered so far, Timmy, the adorable little 4 month old black Greyhound pup, has found a wonderful home with a young family that love him to bits. We didn't even have time to advertise this little fella on the website! And, this lovely family will also be adopting Timmy's litter brother, Eddie, who will be joining us soon.

"Vixen"

Rehomed to Murwillumbah, NSW in February 2007 - this sweet little dog, now named Willow, has found a wonderful, nurturing home with a farm menagerie.  Living on property with other dogs, cats, horses, donkey, goats & pigs, along with a devoted human, Willow has a wonderful life where she gets to run, play & frolic to her heart's delight!

"Bella"

Rehomed to Tanah Merah, Qld in February 2007 - Bella is the newest family member for a mum & daughter, elderly Shepherd, & 2 cats (one being a feisty kitten which rules the house).  The family had adopted Sunny the Greyhound last year, but sadly lost her less than 6 months later.  After some time & much grieving, they have now welcomed the beautiful Bella into their lives.

"Misty"

Rehomed to South Golden Beach, NSW in February 2007 - Misty Blue has a very nice home with an older couple who have lots of time to spend with her & will really appreciate her company & the much needed joy she brings to their lives, - long days snoozing on the balcony - regular walks - a better suited home could not have been found!

Rehomed to North Gosford, NSW in February 2007 - Now known as "Crikey", this big affectionate sook now lives in splendid comfort with a young family who absolutely adore him.  Crikey has his own velour bed in his young 4 year old master's room & gets to laze on the lounge watching cartoons with him.  Crikey also shares his new home with 2 small canine friends. Just perfect!
