Lizzie has been adopted by her foster carers in October 2008, who wanted a friend for their other greyhound and this lovely old girl slotted right in and made herself at home. Allowed to sleep and be inside with her human parents and then be outside with her 4 legged pal, what more could you ask for. One happy home.

"Bodie"

"Kailie"

More details to come...

"Bomber"

Rehomed in October 2008, Bomber has now found his forever home despite his limp with a wonderful couple who have bought him his very own lounge and he is living inside like a king. Goes for 2 walks a day and is the talk of the street. Living near Mt Cootha he is one very happy boy.

"Tia"

Tia was rehomed with Boss, to a nice young couple at Carina Heights, Qld, in June 2008. Excepting some issues learning all about how to walk up and down stairs, Tia has fitted in perfectly and is the queen of the household!

"Sasha"

Rehomed to Jimboomba in September 2008. Sasha has found her wonderful forever home in Jimboomba with another greyhound and 3 kids that just love playing ball with her. After a long time in foster care she now has her own special bed and is living in comfort just like she deserves.

"Katie"

Rehomed to Highland Park, QLD in August 2008. CoCo, as she is know known, was lucky enough to charm the owners of another FoTH dog, Wally, and has gone to live with them permanently. Lucky Coco is enjoying her new life and new companions.

"Tiger"

Rehomed to Zillmere, Qld, in August 2008.  Tiger has gone to live with a couple and their three Miniature Fox Terriers.  This exuberant, personable hound is enjoying the spoilt life & his new family are having fun with his antics & personality.

"Jo-Jo"

Rehomed to Caboolture, Qld, in August 2008.  Jo-Jo is the newest member of a young family who are very pleased with their new addition.  Jo-Jo is now the pampered pet, & this young girl enjoys playing with the kids & playing with the two dogs next door.  (sigh)  A wonderful life.

"Cleo"

Rehomed to Hawthorne, Qld, in August 2008.  Cleo, was another boomerang dog, who was going to be returned to our program by her adoptive family as they couldn't physically spend enough time with her & wanted a better life for this special girl.  Fortunately for Cleo that better life came along instantly in the form of a wonderful woman & her elderly mum.  Cleo is now the centre of attention in her wonderful new home.

"Helena"

Rehomed to Lismore, NSW, in August 2008.  Now known as Selena, this beautiful dog is the companion of a lovely young woman, who spends  much time at home studying for her University education & wanted an affectionate & loyal companion by her side.  Both Mum & this lucky young lady are happy with their new family member.

"Biscuit"

Rehomed to Jimboomba, Qld, in August 2008.  What a little honey!!!  Young biscuit was rescued from an awful, abusive owner that had answered a 'free to good home' ad for Greyhound pups. Needless to say he didn't even make it to our website's Available page before being snapped up by his foster carer.  He now lives happily with an older female Greyhound & a stream of transient foster Greyhounds.  He was a star at Puppy Preschool & will be a star 'promo' dog.

"Hannah"

Rehomed to Giants Creek, NSW, in August 2008.  Hannah has gone to live with Token, a lazy, handsome hound rehomed earlier this year.  The devoted owners have fallen in love with Hannah's bubbly personality, charm & energy, so different from Token's laid back laziness.  A hound haven.

"Zaya"

Rehomed to Toowong, Qld, in August 2008.  Beautiful pound , Zaya, has found her forever home with her lovely foster couple who dote on her. Officially "Daddy's girl", Zaya will spend time with her human dad while her "mum" works overseas. She settled in perfectly from day one, claiming the bed, stealing the slippers and generally being the princess she knew she was!

A happy new home.

"Zoe"

Rehomed to Bridgeman Downs, QLD in August 2008 - Zoe, now known as Betsy, has moved in with some experienced pet greyhound owners and 2 feisty cats!  Apart from an unrehearsed dip in the pool and learning that kitties are boss, Betsy has settled in very well to with her new family, becoming a comfort-seeking missile and all- round lucky hound!

"Ned"

Rehomed to Bundamba, Qld in June 2008 - the adorable ol' Ned gets to stay on permanently with his foster carers, much to his delight, as he sure didn't want to go anywhere else!  He is the doggy delight of a newly married couple who couldn't stand the thought of him leaving.  Lucky Ned!

"Patch"

Rehomed to Tallai, Qld in June 2008 - Patch, our big, beautiful boy found a wonderful home on small acreage with another rescued doggy from Friends of the Pound.  He & Tilly are enjoying life together in this doggy paradise. Having owned a Great Dane in the past, this family was not put off by Patch's huge size & love his gentle, friendly nature.

"Millie"

Rehomed to Murwillumbah, NSW in May 2008 - Millie is the newest member of a young family who think she's pretty wonderful.  Living with 3 small kids, a small old dog & 2 cats, Millie is loving life & all the attention.  The only drawback is being baled up by the resident "attack cat".

"Casper"

Rehomed to Currumbin Valley, Qld in May 2008 - the adorable Casper has found the perfect home on an acreage property with devoted Mum & 4 year old girl where he plays dress-ups, goes on lots of outings, regularly visits the grandparents & shares his home with 2 other dogs & a cat!  After being surrendered back due to one family's change in circumstances, it is wonderful that this beautiful boy has now found a forever home with the commitment & devotion he deserves.

"Mickey"

Rehomed to Sandy Hollow, NSW in May 2008 - did I say that Mickey's foster carer would love to keep him but couldn't go on collecting greyhounds?  Well.... I was wrong.  Mickey is now no. 3 pet greyhound on this acreage property & apparently he fitted in so well there & was such a lovely, cruisy dog that she just couldn't part with him!

"Ella"

Rehomed to Southport, Qld in May 2008 - Ella is enjoying a spoilt life of luxury.  Her own lounge chair, devoted humans who lavish her with attention & affection, romps on the beach... the only drawback is that she has to share her castle with some pesky, bossy felines!  The ultimate princess.

"Roger"

Rehomed to Scarborough, QLD in April 2008 - we knew this handsome hound would be popular & at the first promo event he attended he was quickly adopted.  A family with two teenage kids recognised that Rog was a special boy & were quick to make him a permanent fixture in their lives.  Lucky Roger has an old Boxer female for company & is enjoying life as a pampered pet.

"Gypsy"

Rehomed to Bogangar, NSW in February 2008.  Gypsy scored herself a perfect home  where she is treated like the princess she believes she is.  A one-on-one companionship situation that is perfectly suited to this confident, comfort-loving girl. Human & hound are both very happy.
