2009

"RAYMOND"

The young stunning Raymond was our last adoption for 2009 being rehomed two days before Christmas. Rachel and Alistair, along with 6 year old Ariel welcomed Raymond with open arms to their acreage property in South Brisbane QLD. Within moments of arrival, Ariel and Raymond had already started to form a bond which has flowered in to a beautiful relationship that will continue for years to come.

"TOES"

Toes now known as "Toby" was rehomed in December to Jimboomba QLD, where he spends his days with fellow greyhound 'Sasha', enjoying life with their family on a lovely acreage.

"HULK"

Hulk was adopted in December to Keperra QLD. He is definitely “man’s best friend”.  John, a retired war veteran, spends his days with his mate Hulk just lazing around and watching telly together.  Hulk also enjoys his daily run at the dog park where he gets to meet up with other retired racers.

"DOTTY"

The very beautiful and bouncy Dotty was adopted by Nadine and her family in Moorooka QLD in December and has very quickly adapted to life as the family pet.  Adored by all family members, Dotty enjoys her daily walks as well as stealing Nadine’s slippers to keep her company while in her bed!!

"TOOTSIE"

Our 10 year old girl Tootsie has got a new lease of life.  Adopted in December by Tenille and Scott in North Lakes QLD. Tootsie lovingly spends her days with her new family including a young Indian Ringneck parrot by the name of Maverick.  Scott and Tootsie take regular walks and runs on the beach, where Tenille says that she is just like a puppy again!! A happy ending for this very special girl.

"BAM BAM"

Bam Bam (nickname now "Baby") was adopted in November to Yeerongpilly QLD. He loves company which he has plenty of in his new home. He is getting along great with his new family member's terriers and has also discovered the pleasures of marrow bones and chicken wings! The perfect home for this perfect dog.

"STORMY"

Now known as Dougie, this gorgeous sooky la-la has a fantastic home at Currumbin on the Gold Coast of QLD where he is much adored.  Living with a cat & a professional couple whose daughter approached us about getting a much-wanted greyhound for her parents, particularly her father.  Dougie was worth the wait! He's not brave, but he's beautiful.

"OSCAR"

Oscar was rehomed to Darlington NSW in October by a couple who wanted a greyhound that could live with their cat. However 'Chloe' the cat is still
adjusting to life with this big black Greyhound, who annoyingly keeps trying
to sniff her butt. Oscar has made lots of friends in the neighbourhood - he
likes to go to the markets where he gets lots of treats from stall holders and he's met a couple of other Greyhounds there and at the local park. He's settled in to
the routine and is now part of the family.

"BOSS"

Beautiful boofhead Boss went to his new home in October to Tingalpa QLD. He lives with his doting new family, 2 kids, 14yo Staffy x Jarvis, and 17yo moggie Audrey. This lucky ex blood donor dog adjusted to life in a home like he had been there all his life!

"GRACIE"
