More Info:
Hope is a six year old greyhound who bears the mental and physical scars of a sad early life. We will never know all that she’s been through, nor do we want to, but she has significant wasting to her back legs and a tendency to fall – coupled with her fear of falling, this makes it difficult for her to walk on slippery wood or tile floor surfaces. Recent chiropractic input and ongoing exercises and training have brought about significant improvements, but life for little Hope will always be full of challenges. Hope’s vet feels she has experienced significant trauma to her skull and spine at some stage in her life which would explain some of her difficulties in adapting.

Having said all of this she is a loving, happy dog, she has learned to trust her new foster carers over the last several weeks and will now greet you with a waggy tail and can barely contain her joy at meal times. Hope is polite with other dogs and is able to walk nicely on a lead for short daily walks now with a little patience and encouragement.

Hope needs a forever home and she needs special humans who are willing to work with her quirks and help her forget her past. They’ll get lots of love in return.
