More Info:
Clifford the big black dog has gone through a transformation since being in foster care. Once he was known as cyclone Clifford and was brown and fluffy. Now he is goofy Clifford the sleek, shiny, long boi. Clifford loves food and will do virtually anything for it, resulting in a good recall. Learning to wait for his dinner is a bit more challenging and he will bounce on the spot. Clifford is very tall, making many things on the kitchen bench a temptation he can’t always resist but he is learning.
His second love is toys, especially balls. Throw it once and he will exercise himself for the next 10 minutes and entertain you at the same time. Clifford is still young and energetic but once he’s had a quick zoomie or short walk he is happy to lounge around with the oldies. He likes to be part of the family and loves his ears being rubbed but isn’t needy so he would be ok to leave if you need to go to work. He walks reasonable well on lead and has been friendly to all the dogs, big and small that he has met. As he weighs in at 40kg consideration of his size may be a factor in if he’s the right dog for you. Unlike most greys Clifford would make a great guard dog, if his sheer size wasn’t a deterrent he has a very deep bark and has been known to bail up a human trying to sneak home at 4am!
If you have a little patience and are willing to continue his training you will be rewarded by the most loving, affectionate dog ever!
