Friends of the Hound rescues and finds companion homes for around 250 Greyhounds from the racing industry each year.
They are freed from being caged, forced to race in extreme conditions and continually placed at risk of injury and death on the track.
Greyhounds in our care are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated, and often provided dental treatment and treatment or surgery for injuries. This all comes at significant cost for a volunteer-based, not-for-profit charity.
We receive no funding and rely heavily on fundraising and donations from our supporters.
So we are putting a COMMITMENT call out…
Can you commit to make a monthly donation – just a few dollars each week – to Friends of the Hound so that we may continue our important rescue and adoption mission?
Help us to help more hounds.
