Hi my name is Melanie.
I am a beautiful black and white cow hound. I am a playful and confident girl who likes to run around the yard at my foster home. I am very clever and am learning quickly how to become the perfect house pet. I am enjoying getting cuddles from my foster family.

I have learnt to use enclosed stairs. I eat my meals politely before playing bowl swaps with my foster siblings. I am a little messy when drinking and sometimes jump in the water bowl when I am excited. My foster mum thinks I might enjoy a shell pool or even adventures to the beach but we haven’t had the chance to try these out yet.

I am learning to walk nicely on a lead and am getting better with every outing. I still get excited when other dogs approach. I love other dogs but am not too comfortable around yappy very small dogs.

I like to explore around the house and garden. I am quite the landscaper too!!

My ideal forever home would be with another dog because I would like the company. I get on better with male dogs.

I am more of an active greyhound and would suit a family with older children so we can all go on adventures.
