Molly is a charming lady. After spending her life in a kennel, she is enjoying being a pet and loves human company. Still gaining her confidence, she rarely goes outside by choice. After a sniff around she will lean on you gently, maybe in the hope that you will go back inside with her. Molly is gentle on lead and doesn’t pull or jump. Car travel stresses Molly and she takes a while to get settled.
Being an inside dog suits Molly well, she seeks out the smallest rooms and spaces to sleep in if not allowed to sleep on the bed. She is content to just lie around for most of the day. She adores her foster parents and meeting new people.
Molly expresses herself by leaning on you and looking at you and wagging her tail. She is a gentle, quiet dog who doesn’t jump or lick or move around much. She can startle if suddenly awoken as she sleeps quite deeply.
If other dogs are around, Molly isn’t interested in toys. She is sensitive towards other dogs, very well-mannered towards them, but prefers her own place and doesn’t want to play with them. She will sometimes play with toys when alone, but isn’t overly active with them.
Molly would best suit a home where she gets lots of opportunities to lean on people.
