Paris came into the care of Friends of the Hound in July this year. She had sustained a nasty injury of fractured toes in her left front paw due to a ”trialling accident”. Paris underwent surgery to place an external fixature on her paw to try and align the tiny fractured bones in her toes allowing them to begin to heal. She had many bandage changes and xrays during her recovery and has taken it all in her stride.

Paris, who is petite in size, is an outgoing and bouncy young girl. She has a bright and bubbly, infectious nature and is loved by all who meet her. She loves the company of her other greyhound housemates and is cat tolerant, although she can be a little cheeky with them at times. She would do well in a home with another dog for company.

Paris travels well in the car, walks nicely on the lead and loves to head out and about to socialise. At this stage walking time for Paris is limited due to her foot injury. Her Vet would like to continue to monitor her progress and assess her mobility with the likelyhood of further treatment in the near future. So at this point in time, Paris will need to find her forever home in the Newcastle/Hunter region.
