They organised a bake sale to raise money for Friends of the Hound at Williamstown High School in Victoria... and they raised $254. What a great effort!
Clone your Greyhound fundraiser
Our first fundraiser for the year “Clone your Greyhound” featured custom made crocheted Greyhounds!
This was very popular and produced some very cute clones with their own distinguishing features.

Recently Year 4W from The Rockhampton Grammar School held a fundraiser to raise funds for FOTH.
They sold handmade items and had games to play.
Paint & Sip Fundraiser
Friends of the Hound were very lucky to be chosen as the charity of choice for the “SUPER Vets Hendra (Brisbane) Paint and Sip fundraiser on Saturday 20th July.
This sold out event was held at SUPER Vets, where everyone who attended could “Pawcasso their pet” in watercolour. Several participants were also greyhound lovers so it was a great night to meet new people, share our stories and paint our pets. Profits and raffle ticket sales raised a total of $460 for Friends of the Hound!
Fundraising With Love 💕
Friends of the Hound are very fortunate to have the incredible support of compassionate couples like John and Ian, who recently got married and had asked all their family and friends for donations to FOTH in lieu of gifts. Their wonderful wedding raised almost $4000 to help us save and home Greyhounds. 💜
Brisbane Dog Lovers Show Success
Over $1,000 raised in donations and sales for the weekend!
It was a jam packed two days at The Dog Lovers Show in Brisbane. A lot of FOTH volunteers brought their hounds along to show the public just what great pets Greyhounds make.
