Hereβs the latest update on our brave boy Spikeβ¦
Thanks to your generous donations Spike underwent complex surgeries and a very long period of rehab and recovery in 2022.
Whilst his surgeries and physiotherapy are now completed, he will continue with hydrotherapy and some gentle exercises at the home of his foster carer.
Itβs been a tough time for Spike. His bright, happy personality, combined with our devoted team and your donated funds, have got him to this point. He will now be able to enjoy companion life to the full.
And some more good news⦠it looks like the foster carer that is looking after him will now be making it permanent! Spike is a lucky boy.
Friends of the Hound routinely rescues Greyhounds who need costly surgery, after-care, and ongoing rehabilitation. All the dogs discarded by the racing industry deserve a chance, even the broken ones.
